Etc. Etc. Etc.
Today was our last working day for this semester. After 3 months of hard(ly) work, we stand face to face with a cruel, I mean crucial, phase of student life cycle – Final Examinations. With syllabus still trying to climb the ladder, one of our paper got preponed today (to be politically correct rescheduled).
We all (or may be a lot of us) are gearing up to spend a lot of nights, burning midnight oil. Those who are nocturnal or insomniac would definitely be advantaged, as most of the studying happens at night, others might just get insomnia reading about 1500 pages of notes which we have got (just 4-5 days before exams) plus the slides which from various lecturer taught us plus the class notes we made.
Already, as reported by secret sources, “this week there have been a lots of emotional break downs, across the institute. Loads of pressure of classes, studies, presentations, assignments, bad food, home sickness, real sickness etc etc.”
Anyways, let’s try to be a bit optimistic today and ponder upon on some more events going around us.
Mr. America with all his diplomatic answers, put to rest the questions of all the communication students of our college. Even Mr. Mirror and Mr. Fassial were no match for this ambassadorial orator. But surly, with his beautiful secretary, this man inspired us to be a successful professional.
Next, I like to congratulate the “Photon Club” for there stupendous effort in putting up a fabulous exhibition, inspite of the time crunch we are facing. Some really splendid photographs by some of the very talented photographers of SIMC were showcased, near of the artificial lake in our campus. Later the day was some musication of the event took place, with students playing, singing and ofcourse entertaining others. In short the exhibition and the whole event was a great hit. I would love to see more of such events (not just because they are entertain but also because I can write about them and give a critics view, lased with some sarcasm)
At the same time at UKC’s (our institutes eventful Director) office, a selection for the National Radio Meet’ 09 was going on. I wish best of luck to all those who gave the interview (may the deserving get the project :-) ).
Finally, today (01 Oct’09) about a 110 students had their last class with “The One Who Must Not Be Named”. A lot of relief amongst students (I am sure Mr. Mirror was one of them). But also a lot of hu-ha about “We want to attend more classes”. Reaction from “TOWMNBN”, “Why would you want more class with me, until you have decided to be a masochist.” Anyways to all those girls, I mean students, who love A.S. ("TOWMNBN") but unfortunately are here for MBA not Mass Comm, I seriously sympathize. He is one of the finest teacher I have ever come across and the best permanent faculty in our institute. You guys will miss all his astounding examples like “Bhole Bhole, Bhole Bhole Bhola”.
News for all those who are fedup of reading my idiotic puns on people and my ideologies: This is my last “blog” in this semester (as a tribute to the examination, which start from 4th Oct’08. Also in anticipated martyrdom, of all of us how will soon face the line of fire). I will wait to write an obituary note dedicated to these exams, before they again rise as a formidable Phoenix staring in our eyes. All the very best for exams.
Good Night and Good Luck.
