Why Was I . . .
Why was I forced to be a prisoner?
To be a spectacle to the visitor!
This world was meant to be a stage,
Then why am I in this cage?
I was born here and so was my child,
Together we could never see the wild.
They then took away my child and my mate,
Is this all really fate?
Even this child’s smile doesn’t bring relief anymore,
There was a time when it meant everything in the world!
My cries fall on deaf ears,
As they keep clicking my graying beard.
If one day I woke up to see this cage disappear,
Will anyone embrace me and let me come near?

Best of luck buddy...keep blogging.
In last Pic: In Monkey's eyes the emotion of Helpless and sadness and hope touched my heart.
In boys eye the emotion of unawareness, surprised and something ( which I can feel but can't describe ) are great.
Great Job sir....
dunno what exactly makes you look wiser,
putting me behind this cage.
Coz from my vantage point,
even you look equally inside the cage.
for the third pic:
But if it is for my freedom
that you do this to me,
let me tell you there are no boundations,
close your eyes and see.
the last two makes me say:
or,is it the generation
you are trying to protect,
Coz even then i happen to be its FATHER,
beyond your cataract.
Well done
Also, very nice piece of poetry aptly putting monkey's emotions into words :)
All The Best!
Something on animal rights.
keep it up.
Professional jargons are practically well executed in the effort and that is what makes it very special.
And lines of the poem connects with what you wanna show with pics.
Good job.
Hope to see better pics (as u can always improve) in your next blog.
