A Dry day at Lavale
18th August, 2008 finally brought some relief to Lavale, rest assured it’s not Munna Bhai Jayanti. I religiously get up in the morning. How much ever sincere an effort I put, I never get ready before 8:30am, today I realize its 8:45am already. I am not able to find my windcheater, so, on the way out of the hostel, I try and put together my broken umbrella. Finally I am able to open it and start walking towards the academic block. But it feels different today. Why? What has happened? Am I dreaming? Have I become scyzophrenic? I pinch myself, I am not dreaming. I asked a passer by if he sees what I see, and comes an affirmative YES. He seemed to me like a “Corporate Cultured Student”, so I believe him. Anyways! After 10 days of perpetual rains, THE SUN has been kind enough to shower its blessings on the so called God Forsaken Place; it had started to appear like a sun forsaken dungeon.
